Windows XP/6.0 Dial up Settings

Go to Start
Click All Programs
Click Accessories
Click on Communications
Click on New Connection Wizard

New Connection Wizard:
Click ‘Connect to the Internet’
Click ‘Set up my connection manually’
Click connect using a dial up modem
Type connection Name ‘jamadots’

Use the appropriate local access number from the list below. This is the phone number your computer is to dial to establish a connection with jamadots.

Internet Account Information

User Name: from profile sheet
Password: from profile sheet
Confirm Password: re-enter password
            Check ‘Use this account name and password when anyone connects
            from this computer’
            Check ‘Make this the default Internet connection’
            Check ‘Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection’
Click  ‘Add a shortcut to your desktop’
Click finish

Open Internet Explorer. It may ask you if you want to connect, click to work offline.

Go to Tools and then Click on Internet Options

Here you can set your home page to http://www.jamadots.com.
Click on the Connections tab
 

Most computers have a dial up setting box in which you will see jamadots (default). 

Make sure ‘Always dial my default connection’ is checked.

Go to the ‘settings’button:
Verify you user name is entered
correctly

Go to the properties button and check each of the screens and make sure the settings are the same.
 

Click OK to save changes and exit the program. 
You can now connect to the Internet by clicking on the Internet Explorer Icon!
